Josh can trace everything back to the day “The Wall” crackled through his mom’s living-room speakers—Pink Floyd’s sweeping soundscapes turned a kid with wide-open ears into a lifelong student of sonic possibility. That curiosity eventually earned him a Primetime Emmy for his audio work on Netflix’s Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones, but it also kept him writing songs in the background—producing, playing, mixing, and mastering each one as a personal experiment in how far a single idea can travel.
Now he’s opening the vault with Unarchived, a genre-bending collection that drifts from glassy dream states to pulse-quick funk while wrestling with love, ego, and a planet on edge.
Josh doesn’t just craft his own worlds; he plugs into others. The collaborative streak that birthed Chamelon Effect’s Sand Castles—recorded with friends and his brother more than ten years ago—still runs hot, fueling late-night sessions across Los Angeles. He’s currently producing songs with Kay Stahl Music while also sculpting new cuts for Cloud Heist (his brothers current project), expanding the Arboles sound universe one track at a time.

His credits include cartoon sound design for Big Mouth, Foley work on the Academy Award winning film 12 Years a Slave, and contributions to numerous feature films including Warm Bodies and Dead Man Down. Josh has also worked on major commercial campaigns including Super Bowl ads and regularly records ADR and voiceover sessions for high profile actors and performers.
